Scholarships


The Patrick Marzitelli Science and Aviation Scholarship Fund is a private, independent fund established by John and Maria Marzitelli to provide exceptional men and women with scholarships so they may pursue their passion for learning about science and aviation.

It is supported solely by voluntary contributions from the founders, sponsors, and friends of Patrick Marzitelli, who share a vision to remember Patrick, his passion for learning and his love for science and aviation.

The Patrick Marzitelli Science and Aviation Foundation awards two $3000 scholarships annually.

National FBO Aviation Scholarship

The National FBO Aviation Scholarship is awarded to a Fixed Base Operator Employee with a demonstrated interest in aviation. It can be used to fund pilot training or for tuition at an accredited flight school or college specializing in aviation careers.

Applicants must be currently employed by a Fixed Base Operator in the United States and attending high school, aviation school, or a recent graduate seeking advanced study. A demonstrable interest in aviation, active involvement in your community through volunteer service, and a strong commitment to your family are required. Applicants must have maintained a GPA of 2.5 or higher to be considered.

WBLAHS Scholarship

The Patrick Marzitelli Science and Aviation Scholarship is awarded annually to a graduating White Bear Lake Area High School (MN) senior who displays a demonstrated interest in science, has contributed to the community through service activities, and has a clear commitment to his or her family. Students must have maintained a GPA of 3.0 or higher during their high school career in order to be eligible for this scholarship.
